I came out of Wilson Avenue School in Newark,NJ straight into East Side H.S. My mom yanked us out of Newark, N.J. where I had lived since 1954 and did my freshman'64 ,sophmore'65, junior'66 years at a wonderful school called EAST SIDE HIGH SCHOOL!!the red/white were our school colors and so it also was in the new senior school I was sent to finish my senior yr.I like to say that even though I graduated Coral Gables Sr.H.S. in 1967 FL.My heart will always be as a Cavalier. But I was not a happy person because I left some nice friends behind that I knew since childhood and we would of all graduated in'67 from E.S.H.S. and it was not so. I like to contact them and if they remember me..since 1966/1967 era.. I like them to contact me too. I remember, Janet Poturaj,(the only with actual contact now)we are best friends, I remember, Sebastiana Paolella, LInda Mess, Audrey Kent, Jaqueline Deo, Joseph Zelinski, Laz Alvarez, Oh,,gosh I wish I could see the yearbook and reminesce(?) the good old times and maybe contact them, My crush was Patrick Contardo he was a senior when I was a sophmore.. He was an awesome hunk & I swore that I'd like to be his girl for the rest of my life.. So there you go.. I still live in Miami, and have never gone back to Newark not even for the reunions, but I will make it to the 2002,,35yr.reunion, I am saving for it.. and I will be staying in Janets house.
